Is an unrestricted gift right for you?

Aug 4, 2025 | News

When making a charitable gift, donors often face a choice: an unrestricted gift supporting the nonprofit’s overall mission or give to a specific program, scholarship, or grant.

When donors make an unrestricted gift, they are making a particularly meaningful gift by supporting the nonprofit’s mission and giving the nonprofit the flexibility to use the donation where it is needed most.

Many donors will do both for their chosen nonprofit, designating a certain amount where it is needed most and designating another amount for a specific scholarship or program.

To learn more about giving options and to be connected with the work of the IBMA Foundation, the philanthropical organization for bluegrass music, please reach out to Nancy Cardwell at (615) 260-4807 or info@bluegrassfoundation.org.
