Anticipation is building for the first Biscuits for Bluegrass fundraising event, scheduled for September 20 at the Chattanooga Convention Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The breakfast with VIP artists, which sold out the first week it was announced, will feature a Silent Auction with an impressive list of items including premium tickets to several major bluegrass festivals; a private lesson or songwriting session from folks like Mike Compton, Kristin Scott Benson, Trey Hensley, Tim Stafford, and Rick Lang; quality musical instruments; gift baskets from Compass Records, John Pearse Strings, and a Canada-themed basket; a week at a Cape Cod cottage; a fly fishing trip; an original still life painting by Kathy Thile; a collection of bluegrass-themed books; studio time; band coaching; framed photos and a Hatch Show print; some special items from the Terry Baucom family; and much more!
Watch for an emailed message on September 7, with the link to the online version of the Silent Auction, which will continue through 10:15 a.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 20, during the live Breakfast for Bluegrass event in Chattanooga. Online participants and in-person event attendees may continue to make bids through 10:15 a.m. ET.
