Congratulations to Artie Fischer of Asheville, North Carolina, who won the custom-made banjo from the Pisgah Banjo Company in April.
“We want to give a big thank you to everyone who bought a raffle ticket and helped support the Arnold Shultz Fund,” said Patrick Campbell, of Pisgah Banjos and Balsam Banjoworks.
The annual fundraiser to benefit the IBMA Foundation’s Arnold Shultz Fund raised $31,800 this year, and a grand total of $120,840 to date.
“We are immensely grateful to Patrick and the team at Pisgah Banjos for their support of the Arnold Shultz Fund initiative for the past three years,” said IBMA Foundation executive director Nancy Cardwell. “Their support has made an incredible difference in the Foundation’s efforts to encourage more participation by people of color in bluegrass music. They have become good friends, and we appreciate their kind generosity.”
